6A – II State Championship: Muskogee over Stillwater, 28-26

Muskogee’s Ondraye Beasley – “We left everything on the field for our families, community and coaches. I knew we were going to make history from our 35+ year drought, EVERYTHING just felt so right!”

4A State Championship: Blanchard over Wagoner, 19-14

Blanchard’s Cole Watkins – “Coming out on offense and scoring our first drive down really set the tone for the entire game, we are a tough team and we cause problems for offenses turnover wise and we have all year. It was a great game and the best way to end the year.”

Blanchard’s Blake Woods – “Wagoner came in expecting an easy win and the first drive of the game showed them we were going to be a problem. For all the seniors, this was a great ending to the season and our high school careers.”

Class A State Semi-Finals – Hooker over Hominy, 27-24

Hominy’s Jaxon Woods – “I think we should’ve won, but I’m proud of my guys for always fighting. And I’d rather lose with them than win with anyone else.”

Hominy’s Bryon Marshall – “We fought long and hard, but just fell up short. I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else.”

Hominy’s Blaine Hipp – “Hooker was tough; it wasn’t the outcome we wanted. Our guys fought hard all night long and things just didn’t go our way.”

Class 2A State Semi-Finals – Washington over Jones, 35-34

Washington’s Hudson Howard – “I would like to give props to Jones. They came to play and are always a great opponent. I am proud of our team, we stayed the course. When we were down, we didn’t panic but saw it as a challenge. We made a lot of mistakes, but they are all correctable. We will get it cleaned up this week. Our coaches came up with a good game plan on both sides of the ball. Our O-Line blocked tremendously and we made big plays throwing the ball. Big props to our defense, they held a very good Jones offense to 34 points and came up big late in the game.”
