Sulphur vs Whitesboro, TX
The Bulldogs come into this game 0-2 but have been well tested having played 2A defending champion Washington and rival Davis, They look to bounce back from the 15-14 loss at Davis on week two.
Wilson vs Temple
Temple has some strong kids upfront. They have an athletic QB as well. We have used this week to focus on us. We want to be more physical on both sides of the ball so that is what we have focused on this week. We are making some adjustments offensively coming into this week. Our plan is to try to be more physical this week and in the future. Weather could play an issue this week with rain in the forecast later this week. So we are going to emphasize taking care of the ball this week said Coach Williamson. The Eagles are coming off a 32-14 loss to Ryan.
Maysville vs Alex
Coming off our bye, we got healthy and got two players back that were ineligible due to transfer rules. These should help us up front on the o line and d line and in our backfield. Alex is improved from last season, we saw them at camp in the spring. They play with more discipline and much harder in their second year under Coach Otey. This is a game that our kids will have to come out and execute to come away with a win. Maysville hasn’t beat Alex at home since moving down to 8-man so our kids are looking forward to this opportunity. Our offense also hopes to have a bounce back week after only scoring eight points vs MVG said Coach Dace Lemieux. The Warriors are coming off a bye week and are looking to bounce back after a week two loss to Mt. View-Gotebo 26-8.
Paoli vs Weleetka
Big, strong, and fast. Coach Garringer always has his kids ready to play. They play technically sound said Coach Vince Fulks. The Pugs are coming off a 68-22 win over Bray-Doyle.
Stratford vs Konawa
Konawa is coming off of a good win & bye week, so they will be ready to play. They have played physical & have a couple of hard running backs. Defensively, they get to the ball. We will need to play well & take care of the ball said Coach Michael Blackburn.
Wayne vs Crooked Oak
The Bulldogs and Ruf-Nex are both looking for their first win of the season, Bulldogs are hoping to bounce back after a 21-0 loss to rivals Lexington.
Healdton vs Empire
Empire is a good opponent. They’ve had 2 impressive wins the last two weeks and are coming in with some confidence. We believe we’ve put together two good weeks of preparation for them and are looking forward to the opportunity to compete and try to get our first win said Coach Dylan Terry. The Bulldogs had a bye week last week but are looking to bounce back after a 53-0 win over Walters.
