Paoli vs Thackerville

Speed, Thackerville is fast and physical. We are without a couple of starters one being our QB and DE Scotty Garrett. On a bright side WR Conner Boone caught a TD pass from Freshman QB Jett Underwood, Ran for a TD and threw a TD pass to freshman Braxton Compton. We now have to get to work in preparation for Maysville and a chance for a playoff birth said Coach Vince Fulks.

It was a HUGE win for us last night because it put us in the Championship game next Friday. Both sides of the ball played aggressively last night by scoring and causing turnovers. Austin Trye rushed for 140 yards on just six carries and Aziz Hernandez rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries. Defensively Lucas Joyner had 12 total tackles with 10 of those being solo tackles or sacks. I’m very proud of this team for what they are accomplishing…. said Coach Mark Barrett.

Plainview vs Marlow

Hard fought game. They are big and physical. We loaded the box and tried to shut down their running game. We were able to eat the last five minutes on the clock and kick a field goal with ten seconds left on the clock. We were pretty balanced on the offensive side of the ball Cooper Flowers had another good outing making some really clutch throws. Blake Stewart ran for 125 yards and one touchdown . Our district is stacked with good teams there are going to be good teams at home in the first round.

Wilson vs Cyril

It was a big win for us. It gave us home field in the first round of the playoffs. The cardiac kids were at it again. We returned a kickoff 80 yards with 15 seconds left to win the game. That is the second time this year that we have won a game in the last few seconds of the game. We played well at times and had some mental mistakes that set us back at times. A couple blown coverages and missed tackles allowed a few big plays from Cyril. Other than that we played really well on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively we had 302 on the ground and 146 through the air. We need to be more consistent on offense. We play really well at times and then we will set ourselves back with a penalty or missed assignment. Tyler lead us offensively from the QB position he had 158 yards on 20 carries and a TD. He was 11-19 for 146 and two touchdowns through the air. It was a very exciting game and the fans got their money’s worth Friday night said Coach John Williamson.

Washington vs Comanche

Both offense and defense had a complete game. Defense only allowed 14 total yards; while the offense had 321 yards in the first half said Coach Brad Beller.

Stratford vs Rush Springs

It was a good district win for us. Our defense played well, very proud of their effort said Coach Michael Blackburn.

Healdton vs Wynnewood

It was a hard fought game by both teams. It was a 0-0 game going into halftime. We missed on some opportunities and made too many mistakes. Where as Wynnewood executed well and made the most of their opportunities said Coach Dylan Terry.

Marietta vs Holdenville

They have some great athletes, and their offense is very tough to defend. Defensively, they are fast and disciplined said Coach Alex Doby.
