Washington vs Jones

Against Jones the defense played great all night. We played fast and physical. The offense grinded out some tough drives and capitalize on some big plays. Jones was our third ranked team in three weeks, so it’s a great feeling coming out of that gauntlet 3-0 said Coach Brad Beller. Defensively Cole Beller and Case Alexander lead the way with 12 and 10 tackles respectively, Naithen Spaulding had six tackles and two sacks, Max Wilson had four tackles and two interceptions. Offensively Hudson Howard lead the way with 21 rushes for 154 yds and accounted for all five touchdowns, Major Cantrell threw 8-16 for 176 yards in the air.

Paoli vs Temple

We came out slow, fumbled on first play but then forced a fumble got out to a 30-6 lead then let Bray score 20 unanswered points through the air. Came out the second half and defense stepped up and offense picked up where they had left off. Final score of 68-22 said Coach Vince Fulks.

Plainview vs Newcastle

It was a very hard fought game. We had a bad 2nd qtr. Shepherd Sisemore had a big game on both sides of the ball 148 yards and 2 touchdowns. Blake Stewart had 14 tackles and 100 yards rushing. I think if Newcastle stays healthy they will have a great year they have good size and speed. Their QB was very good. The young RB Bradford was really good as well said Coach Joe Price.

Pauls Valley vs Purcell

It was a crazy game early. Both teams combined for 21 points in first 30 seconds. We scored on first play then they returned the kickoff then we scored again on first play. That would be all the scoring from the first half. Purcell tied it at 14 in first drive of 2nd half then we scored 21 unanswered to end the game. We played well early then again late in the game said Coach Dusty Raper.

Dickson vs Madill

We had over 300 yards in total offense. Jailyn Clark had two touchdowns and we had a 25 yard passing touchdown from Austin hart to Jaybin Keener. Defense played well again giving up less than 100 total yards and only one score said Coach Matt Suffal.

Wilson vs Ryan

We played pretty well most of the night. I felt like we played well on the defensive side of the ball. We gave up a punt return for a touchdown and a touchdown after a turnover on a kickoff which gave them a short field to work with. We still are having small mistakes that continue to set us back. As soon as we find away to eliminate some of those mistakes we will find the win column again. I was pleased with our effort for all four quarters these kids continue to compete for all four quarters. That is something that we can’t coach. I feel like we are close to breaking out as a quality team said Coach John Williamson.

Thackerville vs Temple

After an hour and a half lightning delay we finally put a whole game together (or at least a half). My defense played really well and only gave up two big plays that resulted in touchdowns. The offense rushed for 365 yards and six touchdowns. Justice Rodriguez had six carries for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns and threw for another 50 yards and a touchdown. Final score was 61-12 said Coach Mark Barrett.
