Softball’s Underclassmen to Watch for 2023 in the Tulsa Area

Allie Bernett – SO. Rejoice Christian Eagles 

A go-to pitcher for the Lady Eagles, Allie Bernett has made a big impact on the team and will continue to be a force on the mound as a sophomore. 

Ava McConville – SO. Bishop Kelley Comets 

A catcher for the Comets, Ava McConville has worked hard to be an outstanding catcher and continues to show she is a solid hitter at the plate. 

Emily Gilleland – SO. Broken Arrow Tigers

A talented outfielder, Gilleland has excellent speed on defense and is a real threat to steal bases on offense. Finished her freshman season with 19 stolen bases.

Emme Friedrichson – SO. Bixby Spartans (pictured)

Should be a starter this season for the Lady Spartans in the outfield. Hits for power and could be a force for Bixby as a sophomore. 

Estreyah Ramirez – SO. Union Redhawks 

Started at catcher as a freshman, Ramirez will continue as the Lady Redhawks starter behind the plate. A true leader on the team despite of her age. 

Josie Jervis – SO. Jenks Trojans

Hit .354 with an OBP percentage of .469, while leading the Lady Trojans in homeruns. Utility type player. Was a 6A-3 All-District Honorable Mention selectee as a freshman. 

KK Knight – SO. Owasso Rams

Rated as one of the top sophomores in the country, Knight will likely play 3B and C. Knight is a power hitter and hit in the 3 or 4 hole last year as a freshman. 

Kaylee Seabolt – SO. Holland Hall Dutch

An All-World Honorable Mention, Kaylee Seabolt brings excellent defense and solid hitting at the plate for the Dutch. 

Kenna GoodVoice – SO. Glenpool Warriors

A catcher for the Warriors, Kenna GoodVoice has provided some excellent defense behind the plate. She will be a leader on this team for seasons to come. 

Lakelyn Harger – FR. Charles Page Sandites

A high-energy player who is entering the Sandite program as a freshman and will likely be a three or four year starter. 

Maddi Stewart – SO. Lincoln Christian Bulldogs

Sophomore Maddi Stewart made an immediate impact when she joined the Lady Bulldogs. She can dominate from the circle. 

Ryan Counts – SO. Kiefer Trojans

A player who can play multiple position for the Lady Trojans, Ryan Counts has a high ceiling and is fun to watch play. 

Samantha Shatswell – FR. Sapulpa Chieftains 

Shatswell enters the Sapulpa softball program as an infielder and pitcher. Can play 3B giving Sapulpa a solid defensive player on the corner.
