Aubrie Pogue (SO) – Elk City Fast Pitch

Pogue burst upon the scene a year ago as a Freshman in the circle with a Senior laden squad around her. This season Aubrie has shoulder the load both in the circle and at the plate. Elk City clinched second place in district 4A-1 which allows them to host a Regional coming up in the next few weeks. A major reason is the work Pogue’s done in the circle. She surpassed the 200 Strikeout plateau in a 3-0 District win over Bethany that clinched 2nd place. Pogue’s carried the majority of the load in the circle while also leading the Brown and White at the plate, hitting .481.

Nick Jett (JR) – Weatherford Football

In the offseason everyone wondered who could compliment CJ Nickson in Weatherford’s offense. Nick Jett has been that guy and more. Even on a night when Jett was bottled up offensively, 3 carries for 6 yards rushing and a catch for 4 yards receiving, he still made huge plays. Jett returned a kickoff 85 yards that set up the Eagles’ only TD of the night. He also returned an interception 45 yards.
