Last Updated: November 14, 20231.4 min read

The 2023 softball Underclassmen to Watch list is full of great players from area schools who we believe will make headlines this season. Let us know who me missed by commenting below.

Stillwater

Jaelynn Wilhelm – OF – FR.

A small, but speedy outfielder, Jaelynn Wilhelm gives the Lady Pioneers speed in the outfield and on the bases.

Ponca City

Audrey Varner – C/OF – SO.

Coach Nelson believes Varner will play at the next level. She has a great love for the game coupled with a vast knowledge, skill set, and drive that works in her favor. She was catcher of the year for Class 6A.

Bristow

Kylie Harper – UTL – SO.

Cracked the starting lineup as a freshman, Harper is a long, athletic player with the skill set to play any position on the field. She is the No. 2 pitcher in the lineup.

Mannford

Cambri Casey – P – FR.

Incoming freshman Cambri Casey was undefeated as an eighth grader in the circle. Now a varsity pitcher, Casey is expected to have a solid debut for Mannford.

Woodland

Alissa Travis – UTL – FR.

Woodland freshman Alissa Travis will likely see time in the infield in her first season of varsity play.

Kellyville

Kallie Martin – 2B – FR.

It appears Kallie Martin will be the starting second baseman for Kellyville this season. Solid infielder with excellent defense, Martin will have four years of varsity experience when she’s done.

Tonkawa

Jaz Dollerhide – SS – FR.

Starting shortstop Jaz Dollarhide can make big things happen according to coach Campbell. She can hit, bunt, and has speed on the bases.
