Monday Morning Quarterback: PCH Extends Winning Streak, OBA’s Cheatham Honored, Alva Falls to Millwood
PCH Panthers Making a Case for B2 Playoff Run
Brad’s Take: After dropping the first game of the season in Week 0 to Okeene, Pond Creek-Hunter has won three in a row, including the big win over Waukomis. The Panthers were not picked to make the playoffs in preseason, and it appears they are not paying attention to the “experts.”
OBA Bye Week Gives James Cheatham Chance to Accept an Honor
Brad’s Take: Folds of Honor, a charity organization that provides scholarships to the dependents of fallen soldiers, honored OBA athletic director James Cheatham as the Hometown Hero this week. Aside from being the AD at OBA, Lt. Col. Cheatham is a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard, 138th Fighter Wing in Tulsa, OK. Congrats to Lt. Col. James Cheatham and thank you for your service to our country and state.

Alva Musters 13 in Loss to Falcons
Brad’s Take: Are we seeing improvement from week-to-week with the Goldbugs? Hear me out. Millwood put up 81 points against Douglass and 24 points in a losing effort against Heritage Hall, arguably one of the best teams in the state. For Alva to hold Millwood to 36-points and put up 13 of their own says a lot about this team despite being 1-3. This team has fight and you got to love a team with fight.
