Softball season is upon us. Get to know these young athletes who will make an impact on the softball diamond this season with some insight from their head coaches.
McAlester
Rylan Lesnau – SS – FR.
Rylan will be a freshman this year and will step into a huge role for us at the shortstop position. She is a natural athlete with a lot of range at SS. We look for her to make some huge plays for us this year.
Hartshorne
Kaysen Semeski – Utility – FR.
Kaysen is a current freshman for the Lady Miners, and has already made some great plays on the field and at the plate. She has a cannon for throwing players out at home and can play anywhere on the softball diamond. Kaysen is a team player, always getting her team up in the dugout. She plays a lot of travel ball, and won the Offensive Player Award this past July with them. We look forward to seeing what this young player will do as she progresses through her high school years.
Wilburton
Shannon Stanford – P – FR.
Shannon is a pitcher with an incredible work ethic. She mixes speeds and locations really well and has an IQ of the game. We’re excited about this season to see her continue to grow and lead us in the circle. We’re confident with her in the circle to give us a chance to compete every outing.
Canadian
Shyanne Madewell – Utility – SO.
She will impact the game behind the plate with great arm talent and leadership. And will impact the game with her speed at the plate and on the bases.
Savanna
Makenna Hoffman – 3rd Base – JR.
Makenna has grown into a dependable 3rd baseman for us and bats at the top of the lineup. She’s worked hard in the offseason to develop into a more meaningful role within the team.
