Jenks 

Jenks will face Westmoore for the 12^th consecutive season. The Trojans are 15-1 all-time against the Jaguars with the lone loss coming in the 2002 Class 6A Playoffs.                                                                                                  

The Trojans were able to come up with a pair of blocked kicks for walk-off wins. Jenks defeated Broken Arrow 35-34 on a blocked extra-point in overtime and blocked a potential game tying field goal to beat Mustang 34-31.

Seven of the 13 games involving the Trojans in 2022 were decided by one possession or less. Jenks finished a perfect 7-0 in those games.                                                                                                 

Broken Arrow                                                                                  

Broken Arrow’s Tigers improved to 11-0 all-time against Norman’s Tigers with a 47-20 first round playoff win. It was the ninth consecutive year for the teams to meet.                                                                                         

Bentonville, AR will provide a test in the season opener on August 25^th. Bentonville made the Class 7A state championship game, losing to Bryant 36-7. The Tigers were 11-2 in 2022.                                                                                                                      

Broken Arrow was able to win a playoff game for the 6^th consecutive season. The Tigers however suffered their first losing season since 2006, finishing 5-7.

Bixby

Bixby hammered Broken Arrow 77-17 on October 14^th. It was only the fourth all-time win against the Tigers and the first since 1993.

Bixby’s record 11-man winning streak reached 58 before it was finally ended by Jenks on November 4^th. The Spartans avenged that loss 69-6 to win the 6A-Division I title.                                                                                      

The Spartans scored 804 points in 13-games. That’s the most points scored in a season ever in Class 6A. Bixby’s total of 794 in 2021 is the second highest total.

Union

Quarterback Shaker Reisig completed 24 of 27 passes for 418 yards and a touchdown in a 52-21 win over Edmond Memorial.

Union has won 18 straight district games. Owasso was the last team to beat Union in a district game on September 25^th, 2020.

Wide receiver Jino Boyd caught 5 passes for 159 yards and four touchdowns in the RedHawks 45-17 quarterfinals win over Broken Arrow.

Owasso

Owasso has won two straight and five out of six against Broken Arrow. The teams have faced off three of the last five years in the playoffs.

Bill Blankenship led the Rams to a state finals appearance in 2022. It was the 11th state title game for Blankenship as a head coach. He has won 5 titles and owns 258 career wins in the Oklahoma high school ranks.Blankenship is 11-wins away from overtaking Bill Patterson as the Rams all-time winningest coach. Owasso is 59-15 under the direction of Blankenship.
