Underclassmen are the foundation of a football team and here are some of the up and coming players to watch this upcoming season.

Case Alexander (TE) Washington

Incoming freshman TE and younger brother of Iowa State commit Cooper Alexander

Cameron Weatherford (LB) Lexington

Cameron started as a freshman at inside linebacker. He had 58 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries.

Dawson Matthews (ATH) Ada (Pictured above)

STARTED 8 GAMES AS A FRESHMEN FOR US. HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A BIG TIME PLAYER IN THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA.

James Major (DL) Pauls Valley

He is a big, physical defensive lineman that showed a lot of promise as a freshman.

Noa Seals (OL/DL) Ardmore

Noa has the potential to be a great player for AHS before he graduates. He’s currently a Sophomore Offensive and Defensive Lineman for us. He’s a former Junior High Powerlifting Champion and a great kid in the classroom.

Jason Gleason (DT) Dickson

A tremendous young talent that at times can dominate a game. He showed signs as a freshman to be able disrupt entire offenses from his dt position.

Maddax Mobly (ATH) Sulphur

Luis Rodriguez (QB) Marietta

He is a generational talent for Marietta. He took over starting QB halfway through his freshman year.

Gavin Martin (ATH) Maysville

Gavin is a kid that’s found a home with our football team and has bought into everything we are doing. He was asked to play early last year as a freshman and went through growing pains. He’s going to have a huge year for us as a sophomore.

Xylan Wallace (ATH) Paoli

Only his second year to play football, as a freshman started every game. Extremely coachable and athletic. Played 3 different positions on offense and three on defense last season.

Lincoln Hall (QB/DB) Stratford

Lincoln started for us in the secondary last year and he will return there, but he will also now step into the QB role on offense. He is a good athlete and can use his legs and his arm.

Sloan Jackson (WR/RB) Wayne

Sophomore RB/ Slot WR

Alex McKendrick (ATH) Wilson

Alex can play a multitude of positions and is a very smart player. He is always around the ball and should be a standout defensively at Corner for us this season.
