The Grand Lake area never fails to produce outstanding athletes and impressive football. Here is a preview of underclassmen to watch in the area.

GROVE

Laird Thompson- OL/DL – SO.

Laird is a competitor and hates to lose. He is a physical guy that is not afraid of contact and will use his wrestling skills and strength to dominate both sides of the line of scrimmage.

MIAMI

Josiah Barley- OL – SO.

Josiah has the intangibles to legitimately be a D-1 recruit. He has seen tremendous growth over the offseason and will be a force to be reckoned with once the ball is snapped.

KETCHUM

Hunter Carriger- RB/LB – FR.

Hunter is a fast physical kid that is a 3 time powerlifting state champion. He will be looking to use his speed and strength to be a force on both sides of the ball.

COMMERCE

Landon Brenner- RB/ MLB – SO.

Over the offseason, Landon has really made some strides in the weight room. He will be looking to turn his strides in the weight room into success on the gridiron.

WYANDOTTE

Jack Strang- DE – FR.

Jack is very strong and physical for a freshman in high school. He will be looking to use his strength and physicality to earn varsity game time.

BLUEJACKET

Marshall Huddelson – RB/DB – FR.

Marshall brings a lot of speed on both sides of the ball. He will be great in the run game and also on defense as a defensive back. He is a true athlete that uses his speed to dominate.

WELCH

Thomas Ashworth- FR.

Thomas plays with a lot of passion and should help contribute immediately. He hopes his love for the game and steady work ethic will create success for him and his team.
