Games to Watch in the Shawnee Area for Week 4
Every team in the Shawnee area is in action tonight as we begin district play across Oklahoma! It should be a fun weekend as we have two in-area and one Thursday game this week!
As always, if you are going to one of these games and would like to send me any stats or pictures for our Monday Morning Quarterback, you can email them to chris.cox@vype.com.
Home team listed first.
Bishop McGuinness Irish (2-1) vs Shawnee Wolves (1-2)
Where: Pribil Stadium in Oklahoma City
When: THURSDAY, 9/21/23 @ 7 PM
History: Both teams should be feeling good about where they stand. McGuinness lost their last time out but were off last week giving them an extra week of prep. The Wolves come in at 1-2 but know they could be 3-0 with both losses coming by a combined 6 points. This series has been close with McGuinness holding a slight 4-3 edge but they have one their last two meetings over the Wolves.
