About Aaron Kauk

Hello Everyone. I’m Aaron Kauk. Born and raised in Elk City, I graduated from Elk City High School in 1999. I played some golf at Southwestern Oklahoma State. I began broadcasting for Paragon Communications in 2013 as the color voice of Merritt Basketball. In 2017 I became the voice of Elk City Athletics, a position I still hold today. I host a one hour sports talk radio show on the Western Oklahoma affiliate of The Sports Animal. If you listen to that station often, you might hear a reference to “Skinny out in Elk City”, that’s me. I love all sports, but anything brown and white has a special place in my heart because of the love I have for this school and this town. It’s truly a blessing to be able to bring the games into the homes, hotel rooms, drilling rig dog house, or wherever a Big Elk or Elkette fan might be instead of at the game they wish they were able to attend. I’m excited to be a part of this amazing team and will strive to bring you in depth coverage from West Central Oklahoma.
