A Can’t Miss Player in Tulsa, this Central Standout Should not be Overlooked
Tulsa area schools are pumping out next level talent every year. Some players get lost in the shuffle, but other like Josh Jacobs (McLain) find their way out of the crowd and become highly recruited players, seemingly overnight.
Tulsa Central has this type of player who could become a player college coaches begin to drool over…if they pay attention.
Ayden Guess is a two-way player for the Braves. Known for his defensive end play, Guess is turning heads at wide receiver as well. At 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, Guess has room to grow. His 40-time is listed at 4.62, which could improve with coaching. Current GPA is listed at 3.7, but no SAT/ACT score yet. All signs point to this guy checking a lot of boxes.
In a recent game against Inola, Guess made 8 receptions for 137 yards and 3 TDs. On defense he recorded 8 solo tackles and 2 sacks.
There has been some interest. DJ Linton, Prospect Analyst at Oklahoma State University made an unofficial visit and had a chance to see Guess up close.
Guess does have offers including one from the University of Central Oklahoma.
The question is which DI school is willing to extend an offer to a young man who will work hard, stay on top of the classroom work, and give you a player who is built to make plays on either side of the ball.
