Owasso Hosting Surging Mustang

Brad’s Take: Last week the Rams had all they wanted from Union, while Mustang was beating rival Yukon handedly. This road game for Mustang is their toughest game since facing Springdale Har-Ber in week 3. Mustang may be 4-0, but every team from the West understands when you make that drive up the Turner Turnpike to Tulsa, you’re facing another type of animal. That’s not to say Mustang doesn’t have a chance. Of course they do. But I’m still taking Owasso, 34-24.

Coweta Looking to Make a Statement Against Sapulpa

Brad’s Take: Coweta is 2-2 coming into their game with Sapulpa. Their two loses are to Carl Albert and Wagoner…that’s right, two of the best teams in the state. Since week 0, Sapulpa hasn’t faced a team as tough as Coweta. While Sapulpa features a great QB, Coweta has their fair share of playmakers as well. This is a tough District 5A-3 game to pick, but I’m going against my gut and I’m taking Coweta in OT, 41-38.

Bishop Kelley Squares off with Collinsville

Brad’s Take: The Comets are playing excellent defense as of late. That defense will be put to the test when they host Collinsville Friday night. Collinsville is not just winning games; they are dominating opponents. This however, will be their toughest game to date. Kelley offers some interesting problems for Collinsville, but in the end the Cardinals should pull out the win, 38-21 over a very game Bishop Kelley team.
